Age: 43
A life-changing moment: When I prepared for my first fitness competition in 2011–I lost 20 lbs and saw my abs for the first time in my life! In this moment I realized that “I” have the power to change and achieve anything I desire in life.
Daily improvement: Every day, I try to focus on being a better human in some way.
Fear factor: My greatest fear is not going after my goals and dreams before I die. I don’t want to leave this planet with any regrets.
Entrepreneur at heart: I am most proud of creating my own personal training studio and online business. I help women of all ages transform and become the best version of themselves both inside and out.
The best medicine: I absolutely love how I feel after a great workout! Exercise helps to keep me in balance.

Age: 50
Fresh outlook: Having my son, Daniel, when I was very young changed me and gave me a whole different outlook on life and my future in many ways. Knowing at that time that things would be more challenging to achieve, I faced what I needed to with a positive attitude.
Most important possession: Good health. It is without a doubt the most important thing you can have.
Happy times: When I’m at home chilling with my dogs or on vacation relaxing on a beach!
Eyes on the prize: Thanks to my amazing support system, I was able to continue my education & graduate from the Ryerson Theatre dance program for teaching dance in 1995.

My inspiration: Growing up with a hard-working entrepreneurial father shaped me. He taught me life. He taught me how to work hard and go after what I want. He taught me to not be afraid of hard work. I truly believe that I am what I am today because of him.
Best known for: My best friend would say I have an ability to connect with and inspire people to do and be better.
Proud mama: I have been lucky enough to see my two children grow into adults and I am proud of the job I did raising them. They are two incredible humans who are already doing amazing things in this world.
Two truths: I was an insanely rebellious teenager and when I finished college, I opened an Italian restaurant.

Courageous comeback: I was in an abusive relationship in my early 20s and it changed me into someone I no longer recognized. It caused so much panic and anxiety that I had to take a leave from work, ended up under 100 lbs. Leaving was not easy. but starting over shaped me into the person I have become and 30 years later, I would not change that for anything.
You can count on me: My best friend would say that what they love about me most is that I am always there to help the people in my life. No matter what the situation is–from where to get the best Thai food to helping someone look for a new job.
Time’s ticking away: I have so many plans, ideas, and things that I want to do, and I feel like time is running out.
